The Italian Cultural Institute is becoming yet another New York site where the public may view art at no charge. A new opportunity for that begins on Saturday when “The Ascoli Piceno Annunciation” (1628), by the Baroque Italian painter Guido Reni, makes its maiden visit outside Italy.
The painting is the first in what is envisioned as a continuing series of art exhibitions at the institute, at 686 Park Avenue, between 68th and 69th Streets.
